Overview

Your Rottnest Island Day Trip includes 2 Deep Boat Dives minimum 30 metres. You must be a qualified diver (minimum Advanced) to attend this activity. Blue Destiny DO NOT provide dive guides, however, one can be allocated by advance booking. If you're an experienced and confident diver you will be allocated a buddy to dive with (if you're travelling on your own) or you're welcome to dive with your friends (if travelling in a pair/group). We will endeavour to pair you with a diver of similar experience and equipment configuration (i.e. rebreather, twins/sidemount or single), however, this cannot be guaranteed so if you're travelling alone please be flexible.

Fremantle is the main Port of Perth City & Western Australia. This makes Fremantle the best place to jump on our boat and head over to Rottnest Island. Rottnest Island is a limestone rock based Island, being of a soft porous composition. This soft rock coupled with the open Indian ocean currents, have created deep crevices, caverns and huge swim thru's like you have never seen before.

Great Dive

Went on a deep dive charter to shark Cave. Great dive where we saw sharks, whales and a turtle. I only saw the sharks. I spent my whole time in the cave where there were 4 Grey Nurse coming and going. Only downside was diving with 25 others. Never-the-less the sharks seem unphased by the large number of divers. The upside was the boat catered so well for this large number and it was not too full with an upstairs deck which meant there was plenty of space. The food was phenomenal.....the best I've ever had anywhere in the world after a day dive! The staff were lovely and competent, and just the right amount of care. It would rate as the best dive I have had in Perth. I'll definitely dive with Blue Destiny Again.

I have been on the blue destiny a lot of times and I have always had a great time. The crew works hard to ensure everyone has a great experience. This time was special as I saw a humpback whale swim past me on my first dive of the day! Lunch was great as always, the crew amazing! Well done guys!

Great crew beautiful boat. Very smooth trip which was well organised and run efficiently. The captain was very professional as were the crew. Safety was a high priority onboard. The lunch was great and included vegetarian options. Added bonus was having a pod of humpback whales visit us at lunch! The crew had good knowledge of the dive sites we visited and again ensured everyone was safe going into the water and that everyone came back.
