Overview

Andrea Jensen is a unique sailing experience with British crew. An 85 year old, Danish sailing ship, with a traditional gaff rig, one of a kind in Sardinia. During the day cruise, you will join a very small group of guests who will share this once in a life time experience. The tour offers quality and service, the best boat trip in Alghero by far. Sail from port and explore the stunning coast to Capo Caccia, along the infamous Coral Riviera and stop in Porto Conte Bay. Take in the beautiful scenery, whilst relaxing on board, chatting to new friends or just chill on deck. Freshly prepared lunch on board. During a 2 hr stop, there is an opportunity for swimming and snorkeling in a beautiful, secluded bay, with breath taking, crystal clear water. Enjoy our selection of local wines or beer (soft drinks and water are also available). All inclusive. In the afternoon, you can help to raise the sails for a gentle sail back to Port. Fun, sun and sailing. Dolphins may join us if you are lucky!

Unique to Sardinia. Andrea Jensen has sailed out of Alghero port for 18 years. A Sailing experience on a LARGE traditional wooden ship. Sightseeing, aboard our spacious, friendly ship, around the coast of Alghero's Coral Riviera. Exclusive hire is possible, just contact us about this. Fresh air and a worry free trip with a professional crew. Includes two course freshly prepared lunch, plenty of local wines and beer. Relax in your own deck space (20m open deck), away from overcrowded beaches. Swimming and snorkeling (equipment available free) in a spectacular bay. Raise the infamous, red sails to enjoy our spectacular gaff ketch at her best, sailing out on the open waters of the Mediterranean. You can get involved, there is something for everyone on this magnificent day trip for you and your family. No need to bring anything just a smile and a towel. Sunscreen and a hat advised. Chilled, bottled water available on board all day. Sightseeing, swimming, snorkelling, relaxing, jumping into crystal clear waters, sailing and sunbathing. Amazing Sail

Colin, Rachel, and the Andrea Jensen were phenomenal. The trip was wonderfully planned and the snacks and food were delicious. Seeing the western Coast of the island and Sailing back to port were beautiful

The best day! Rachel, Collin and Clare are absolutely wonderful! The best hosts! This is a fantastic day out from start to finish, This was our last day in Alghero and safe to say we saved the best for last! The whole day is amazing absolutely brilliant. A trip not to be missed!

The most fun we’ve had on a boat trip! Can’t recommend enough - our hosts on the beautiful Andrea Jensen, Colin & Rachel and deck hand Meric went above and beyond to give us a fabulous day out! We were a group of 4 couples - Canadian (newly weds ❤️), Slovakians, Danish and us Irish - made for a very enjoyable day getting to know and have the Craic with great people. Rachel was a great guide to all the sights we saw and gave us invaluable tips on where to go and what to see. When we dropped anchor for lunch we all egged each other on to jump off-board and that along with the fabulous food and wine broke whatever shyness there was meeting new people - Colin & Rachel shared some great stories and then put us to work launching the sails getting us all involved and making us believe we were true sailors! Before we knew it we were heading back - not quite believing we had been on the water for 7 hours! This had been our highlight of many recent holidays and we encourage you to book - you won’t regret it! Thanks Rachel & Colin!

Cannot recommend this experience highly enough. Thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable day out on board a real sailing ship. Excellent food, beer and wine at lunchtime . Lovely swim in the beautiful Mediterranean too. Colin, Rachel and Matteo were excellent hosts making sure we were all looked after. Would have no problem repeating this if I'm ever in Sardinia again.
