Overview

Come and enjoy snorkeling on the second largest barrier reef in the world, the Meso-America barrier reef just off the shore of Puerto Morelos located inside the National Marine Reserve. Group size no more than 10, duration 2 hours, and certified guide to accompany you. Snacks and water available on the boat and no need to queue with skip the line entrance. Sharks, rays, and turtles!

Absolutely wonderful! We loved everything about it. Service was great. Our guide was amazing. Gear was comfortable and clean. We were set-up and in the water in no time. We saw everything there was to see. Turtles, rays, nurser shark, and so many fish! Our guide was friendly and helpful. He picked up plastic as we snorkeled. Wonderful ocean steward and example of how to “leave no trace” and give back by making it a better place than when you arrived. Amazing snorkeling today, thank you Wet Set Diving Adventures and thank you Puerto Morelos!

Musa took us out for our snorkeling experience. I can’t remember the captains name, but he was also great! This was my second experience snorkeling in Puerto Morelos. I recommend going early and on the weekend, which is what I did this time. There was way less people out on the water and it made the experience so much more enjoyable. We saw a reef shark, a sea turtle, and an eel, among many different types of fish. It was beautiful! I will definitely be doing the experience a third time when I go back.

Lovely little reef snorkel outing

Lovely outing for our family of 4 with an 8 year old and 10 year old semi-experienced snorkelers. Great value with this Sweet small business. There were only 7 guests on our boat and our guide was conscientious to keep us all together and to tell us what we were seeing. We snorkled in 2 spots and enjoyed the 2-hour Excursion. They have a shower and dry towels for you after you return. I recommend borrowing the wetsuit if it's at all windy, it gets cold with the wind after you're wet.

Came back to Puerto Morelos to snorkel with Wet Set a second time we enjoyed it so much. Professional business and very friendly. Provided wet suits, life jackets, mask and snorkel and fins. Good clear instructions in English from Christopher and captain Marcus. Our experience was excellent on both trips. Puerto Morelos is a great place to see the reef only a 5 minute boat ride. It’s very safe and the water is clear and shallow. Saw lots of different fish and the coral was beautiful. Recommend this business for this experience.

Just the luck of the draw, but me & my wife turned out to be the only people on this particular excursion. Also luck of the draw, but one of the first animals we saw was a turtle grazing just a few feet below us at the first stop. Also saw a huge nurse shark, and bunch of barracuda, and a bunch of assorted fishes. Well worth the price of admission. FYI, you'll be wearing a life vest the entire time as diving down is not allowed, but the water is so shallow you're not missing anything by staying on the surface. Our guide Daniel was great, talked us through the process every step of the way, made it an effortless and very enjoyable experience. This is definitely not a party cruise, there's no booze, there's no loud music, it's all about the snorkeling and the environment, so if you're looking for a party, book elsewhere. If you are looking for a real snorkeling trip, this is the one!
