A Must do in Sumatra

Although we didn’t get to see the sunrise due to a heavy mist, the experience was still fantastic. The lake and mountain views seemed to appear and disappear with the shifting mist, creating a surreal atmosphere. It was truly an out-of-the-ordinary experience. Our guide was exceptional—he shared deep insights into the region, its culture, and much more. Thanks to him, we arrived at the summit just before everyone else, so we had the breathtaking view all to ourselves for a while. The hot spring bath at the end was another highlight, where tourists and locals alike come together to relax. Just remember to bring a swimsuit and towel for that part! Overall, an unforgettable experience.

Amazing vulcanic view

Under guidance of Anggi (08 5297700529 whatsapp) we hiked at 04.30 in the morning to the top of Sibayak. Accompanied with his dog jaguar. The sunset was amazing. And Anggi provided us with a lot of information about the vulcano and nature. He even boiled some eggs for us in the water of the vulcano. An experience you wil never forget.

The experience was really really great , all the staff is kind , we had difficulties to come from Medan with my friend qnd they help us a lot with the transportation. The view of the sunrise over the volcanos was so magical

Anggi was the best guide ever! Showed us the best spots from the very top of the mountain and was our own personal photographer. He took us to the thermal springs and to a local place for breakfast before dropping us off at our Homestay. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting Sumatra!

Don't miss the sunrise!

Started our trek at 4:45am and arrived at 5:30 with plenty of time to see the first light and the sunrise. Don't even have to walk to the highest point to get some amazing views of the sunrise and Mount Sinabung in the other direction. Explored the crater and saw the gas coming out of the cracks Guide was great to talk to about the mountain and other things related to Indonesia. No issues with the drop off or pick up. The hot springs were great to finish the trip with many pools all at different temperatures. Great experience that I would recommend to my friends. Many don't realise there is a lot more to Indonesia than just Bali
