Overview

Torrevieja is the best place to make your first steps in surfing. Big waves are rare in the Mediterranean sea, that’s why here is the safest and easiest way to learn surfing. Our lessons are perfect for small kids and people that are just starting to learn surfing. Surfing is also a great sport that trains most of the muscles in the body, as well as a good neurological exercise, because it develops proprioception and balance. We like to say that it is good for the soul; it releases endorphins that keep you in a good mood, fit, and healthy.

Itinerary

You will learn how to catch waves on the first lesson. Our proven learn-to-surf method is a systematic approach to teaching people the proper mechanics of the act of surfing. Here is what you can expect out of this activity: 1. Meeting and introduction. 2. Getting to know the equipment we are going to use and distribution of the right equipment to all the participants. 3.Land part. > Introduce the sea conditions and proper behavior in the water to all the participants. > Discovering what is the best position on the board for each of the participants (goofy or regular). > Practising the take-off maneuver. 4. Water part. > You will go in the water accompanied by a professional instructor at all times. The instructor will be helping you by pushing your board to make you catch waves more easily and will give you feedback after each wave to improve your technique.

Great for first-time surfers

Amazing experience! Dimitri was very cool and a great teacher! We were provided with wet-suits and surf-boards, got lessons for 2 hours and we were able to continue surfing on our own afterwards. Would absolutely recommend!

Brilliant experience I loved it and will be back next week to have another go.

Domitrios was the instructor. He was very professional and very patient and treated everyone the same and gave each one of us instructions and tips on how to surf. He gave us longer than the designated time. I have learnt so much and will keep going back until I master the surfing. He is very punctual and answers texts quickly and lets you know if the waves are good enough. There were a mixed group of people when I attended including children and I am a senior person but felt part of the group if you are wanting to do surfing or paddle boarding I would recommend it and I am definitely going again.

I had a fantastic time at SURFIN' surf school! The staff was incredibly friendly and I could learn how to surf. I will keep practicing and coming back to SURFIN'.

Well organised and good communication before lesson. Equipment, good quality and instructors were great. Both my boys had a great time and managed to surf. Drink after lesson was a nice touch too. We will definitely book again next time we are in the area.

The best place to try surfing

An excellent school with wonderful organization, where everything is thought out to the smallest detail. The equipment is in perfect condition and has not caused any complaints. At the beginning of the lesson they give you a T-shirt so that the surfboard does not chafe, and after the lesson they give you a bottle of water). Training is in 3 languages (English, Spanish and Russian). The coaches are always watching for safety and pay close attention to everyone, explaining what and how to do, correcting mistakes and suggesting what needs to be improved. They also advised me on how to choose a surfboard and let me try different models to see what would be better in practice. At this school they will teach you not only how to surf but also how to have fun in the process. I recommend it to everyone)
