"Talking Buildings" is a first-person account of the historic buildings of Old San Juan. Created by the Saint John's School 6th grade Social Studies class of 2022, this self-guided audio walking tour will take you on a journey through time, from the 16th century to modern-day. The students do such an excellent job in this audio tour - 100% recommend! Directions are easy to follow and you get a full experience of Old San Juan.

It’s Worth It

I really enjoyed the audio tour of Old San Juan! The only hiccup was that there was construction on a road that threw the tour off a bit. But I was able to put in the location where I was and started the tour back from there. I could stop and go as I pleased! Highly recommended.

The precise location. As you moved the “guide” will move and start talking about the building once you got there. Incredible. Short and sweet stories. We love it!

This self-guided tour is highly recommended for independent travelers who want their own pace. It is a very informative tour where each point of interest is a history lesson. So fun!! I had a wonderful time walking around with all this well-researched history in my ear, and the kids saying it made it so much cuter!! So much better than a tour because I got to stop and shop or wander off whenever I wanted. Also felt very safe walking around as a solo young woman.
