Our whale shark sharing tour 2 Days 1 Night on Sumbawa Island offers a breathtaking and unique experience to see whale sharks in their natural habitat. This activity is carried out in the waters around Saleh Bay where many whale sharks come to look for food, such as plankton. Tour participants will have the opportunity to swim or snorkel close to these huge creatures, under the supervision of an experienced guide. Can I just say, this trip was EVERYTHING?! My partner and I are adventure junkies, and swimming with whale sharks was an experience we’ll never forget. These gentle giants are so graceful and massive totally humbling to share the water with them. The guides kept the whole vibe safe and fun, and the other participants were super chill too.

This tour was everything I hoped it would be! We saw 4 whale sharks, and we had them all to ourselves as our guide took us to a spot away from other groups. We weren't rushed at all and could practically spend as long as we liked in the water with them. It is a long journey with a lot of driving, but worth it to see the sharks! Our guide was wonderful and took really good care of us, and broke up the journey with stops for snacks and to see the weaving village.

This was such an amazing day we got to swim with the rich underwater beauty and on what was meant to be our last jump, I didn't get to see them properly so they let us go again to ensure that I got my final chance. The guides were great.

We went straight to the actual manta point, which is quite far, so not every tour does this. Arriving there, we were able to see 2 mantas! We decided to stay there for a bit longer, and afterwards we sailed to a point with corals and lots of fish for a shorter period of time. Only downside: due to the turbulent ride, we got bruised as there weren’t any cushions on the seats.

The guides was fantastic. There was a lot of boats out there but they found their own ways so where we were it was only a couple of boats. They had lifewests so I could have one while snorkeling. Thanks a lot for that.
