Join Wild Water Adventures on the famous Kicking Horse River for a true Rocky Mountain whitewater rafting experience. Famous for its waves and rapids, the Kicking Horse offers ‘mild to wild’ whitewater options. Satisfy any level of desired whitewater adventure with either our half-day or full-length trips. We are here to make your Kicking Horse adventure the best it possibly can be. Safety at Wild Water is our #1 priority. At the River Base (2750 Beaverfoot Rd, Golden BC), change into top-of-the-line provided gear and be shuttled to the river. After a thorough safety briefing, it is time to raft! Choose between fun-filled 1/2-day trips or longer full-length experiences. Families and the mildly adventurous will love the Gentle trip, a perfect introduction to whitewater rafting. Bigger & wilder waves are found on the Whitewater Exciter. The full-length Tradition maximizes time on the river and is the Gentle & Whitewater Exciter trips put together! Depending upon the trip of choice, on-river time ranges from 1 ½ to 2 ½ hours.** ** AGE & WEIGHT CRITERIA

Incredible ride with Gavin !

My wife and I joined 5 other guests plus our amazing talented and very humorous guide Gavin on a wild ride down the Kicking Horse River for almost two hours . All of the staff and other guides as well as the bus driver were very knowledgable very well trained and the safety of the guests was a priority. I can’t say enough about Gavin as he knew the river like the back of his hand and got all crew members involved in the exhilarating journey down river . He was very quick witted with several great one liners . I would do this trip again tomorrow !

Absolutely brilliant. Team were friendly and good fun but really well organised and it was clear we were in very safe hands. Trip is just the right length. Massive smiles all round from everyone. I couldn’t fault them for anything.

We had an amazing time with wild water adventures. Everything was seamless and well organised. The welcome meet, safety briefing, transport and expertise were faultless. Our guide, Spencer made us feel safe and made it SO fun. A team of staff who clearly love what they do which make the experience all the better. Thank you!

We drove out from Calgary for a few days to do some white water rafting on the kicking horse river. I am so glad that we went with wild water adventures. The hospitality and general kindness of all the staff and guides was top tier. However the best and most memorable part of the trip was by far our raft guide Gav. He was outstanding! His knowledge of the river was above and beyond! He made the entire experience something to come back for. If you ever get the chance to go down this river look for Gavs boat you will not be disappointed. Just make sure you don't let him see you yawn, you will be on the front of the raft faster than you can paddle and getting slamed by every wave. Unless of course that's what you are aiming for. 10 out for 10. Cheers Gav.

Epic Rafting with Epic people

We booked rafting for the afternoon of September 1st, and had a wonderful experience!!! Our guide was Landon, who was a pro and kept us entertained with jokes. Spencer gave us an awesome welcome speech at the base about equipment etc, Gavin kept us tuned in on the bus about what to expect and prepare for on arrival, and Ty delivered an informative safety speech once we got to the water. We had a blast in the raft and the views were unreal. Last but not least, our driver RAY!!! We love our RayRay!! Ray kept us safe and snapped awesome pictures of us on the water. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would book again next time we are in town.
