This is an educational tour at a Wildlife Rescue Center located close to La Fortuna. It is a great chance for you to see wild animals, visit their enclosures, learn about the conservation efforts and have fun. It is a perfect, family friendly activity for all.

Great experience!

Wonderful rehab center where the goal is to release the animals back into the wild. It is obvious that they all care very much for the animals. Carlos was super interactive with our daughter and very patient. He did a good job keeping her engaged even though she is not even 2. He was also very knowledgeable about all the animals. Thanks for the great tour Carlos!

Carlos was the best guide! Kept the kids entertained and educated us on all of the animals and conservation efforts! Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely hands-down one of the best tours I have experienced. We expected a “wildlife tour” but it was so much more. Our guide, Carlos, was wonderful and helped us understand heartbreaking animal trafficking, especially of exotic birds. We also learned the importance of respecting nature and survival of the fittest. Tough to do, but necessary. We are now bird advocates and will take our knowledge back to the U.S. to share with friends and family. We will also be making a donation to this wonderful facility.

We are so glad we did this tour. Carlos did a fantastic job explaining the important work that Asis is doing to help rehabilitate the animals. He made the tour a lot of fun and a great experience for our kids. They learned a lot about the wildlife that we saw throughout our time in Costa Rica. Wish we would have signed up for the volunteer activity too.
