Established in 1982, Similan Islands National Park is a tropical paradise located in the Andaman Sea off the coast of Phang Nga Province, Thailand. The park is famous for its crystal-clear waters, white sandy beaches, ... and vibrant coral reefs, making it a haven for snorkeling and diving enthusiasts. Visitors can also enjoy hiking, bird watching, and camping on the islands. The best time to visit is from November to April when the weather is dry and the sea is calm. The local culture of the islands is influenced by the Moken sea gypsies, known for their traditional fishing techniques and close connection to the ocean. Read more ▼
