Itinerary

  • Jodipan Colorful Village (Pass By)

    We will pick up all participant from any places in malang city. The journey to Tumpak Sewu waterfall will takes for about 2-2.5 hours depend on traffict. We will passing Jodipan colorfull village (without stop). The driver/tour leader will tell you an inspiring story of Jodipan colorful village.

  • Mount Semeru Volcano (Pass By)

    We will see the beautiful view of Semeru mountain on the road, if you want to capture some picture we could stop for about 5-10 minutes.

  • Tumpak Sewu Waterfall

    After arrived in Tumpak Sewu area, car will be parked in parking lot. We will take a rest for 5-10 minutes, then walking for about 10 minutes to panorama view. After capturing some pictures at Panorama view, we will do trekking for about 50 minutes downhill to reach the buttom of Tumpak Sewu waterfall. ITINERARY: 07:00 - 07:30 Pick up all participants from any places in Malang city. 07:30 - 10:00 Go to Tumpak Sewu, passing Jodipan colorful village (without stop) and enjoy the view of Mount Semeru the highest point in Java island (can stop for 5-10 minutes). 10:00 - 12:00 Hiking to the botom of Tumpak Sewu waterfall (down hill). 12:00 - 14:00 Hiking to Goa Tetes cave and passing Tetes waterfall (can stop for 10-15 minutes). 14:00 - 15:00 Hiking back to parking lot (up hill). 15:00 - 17:30 Back to Malang city.

    Hiking to Goa Tetes (Tetes Cave), we will passing Tetes waterfall and Lost LeBlanc's invinity pool followed by hike-up hill and return back to Malang city.

Mesmerizing scenery, worth the effort

Unforgettable trip with great and well organized tour from Smartway. Thanks to the driver, Mas Sholeh, for letting us know every good scenery we passed. Sum of tips : - please wear comfortable shoes or just hiking sandals. For sure, your journey will completely make your entire outfit wet. Despite all the struggles i've been through, it's really worth the effort with the experience I got. as this is the second tour I'm with Smartway, next turn will be Ijen. Thanks, Smartway !

The views were amazing, climbing up the waterfalls to the caves was very cool. Our guide was great and very friendly, as was the driver. Great trip, highly recommend.

The tour was amazing. Waterfalls are beautiful. We absolutely loved our guide and driver. They were do kind and helpful. Driver provided us water and snacks. Guide was doing a lot of photos and later shared a lovely movie from our trip. That was a great surprise. Totally recommend, thank you all! :)

Adventurous and fun day in waterfalls

One of my favorite memories from Indonesia! Waterfall hiking, exploring caves, seeing wild monkeys. Such an adventure! About 3-4 hours of actual hiking. The drive can be a bit long (2-3 hours) and though parts of the hike can seem a bit tricky/dangerous, the guide is super helpful and you can communicate to him if you want to skip a certain part (ie. I didn't go into the second cave because I didn't want to). Truly a super fun adventure that I'll remember forever though.
