Mawande was a great tour guide and we had so much fun! Throughout the drive he explained a lot about the culture and different things we saw along the drive which was really nice. The safari was really great aswell and we saw so many different animals. We had a great time and would definitely recommend the tour!

Fantastic experience. Frank was an enthusiastic guide. Garden Route Game Lodge had cute individual chalets and we saw all the animals we were hoping to on the two game drives. Lots of driving, but able to see some unique things we wouldn’t have like the penguins and southernmost point of Africa where the Indian Ocean meets the Atlantic. As mother/daughter travelers, we always felt safe. Highly recommended.

The 2-day safari with Bokbus and our guide Mawande was very enjoyable. During the journey, Mawande told us a lot about the history of South Africa and the special places we passed, which was really exciting. On the outward journey there were sightseeing stops in Betty's Bay and Hermanus. Overall, our guide always made sure that everyone was doing well during the entire tour. The two game drives at the Garden Route Game Lodge and the accommodation there were fantastic. On the way back we visited Kap Agulhas, Mawande told us a lot about the country and its people, so the long journey passed really quickly. A top experience!

The drive was long but worth it. The coast and inland was beautiful. Our driver was safe and knowledgeable. The lodge was excellent. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable. We saw tons of animals. Excellent overall experience
