Itinerary

One of the best ways to see the Lowcountry is from a kayak! On this 2-hour guided tour you'll embark from Shelter Cove Marina and kayak in the Broad Creek. You'll receive a brief paddle clinic followed by a nature based tour of salt marshes, tidal rivers and creeks. Get the chance to spot dolphins, birds, take in the fantastic views and learn about the rich history and culture of Hilton Head. We encourage clothing appropriate for water activities and bringing water, snacks, and sunscreen. Children 12 & under MUST be accompanied by an adult in a double kayak. TO BOOK CHILDREN, PLEASE CALL OUR RESERVATIONS TEAM.

We had an amazing time. Our guide Alexia took the time to make sure we felt comfortable with the kayaks. She was also extremely knowledgeable about the island and gave us some great recommendations for food and things to see. I would definitely recommend this experience.

We had a blast kayaking and learning about the ecosystem of the creek. A beau but windy day. Great equipment. Our guide whose name I can’t remember was phenomenal. (She moved from Atlanta 2 years ago). I highly recommend this kayak tour and the Outside company!
