Downtown Juneau-Mount Roberts Goldbelt Tramway - Instructions: We do not have a doc rep. Our bus driver will check you in on the sidewalk 15 minutes before the start time of your tour. We will meet you on the southern side of the Mount Roberts Goldbelt Tram. Arrive no later ... than your tour start time. Please stay clear of the large crowd under the trees as that is an unaffiliated company's meeting area. We drive a 28 passenger white Thomas bus that says Juneau Whale Tours/JWT on the side in dark blue lettering with our whale logo behind the rear tire. Our driver will be wearing a BRIGHT YELLOW HI-VIS VEST and holding a white sign with our whale logo and name on it. We will return you to the same location at the end of your time with us. READ ME IF YOU ARE IN PORT AT AJ DOCK!!!! AJ dock is 1 MILE AWAY from the Mount Roberts Goldbelt Tram. The city of Juneau provides frequent buses that will transport you to & from the Mt Roberts Goldbelt Tram (downtown) for a small fee. PLEASE PLAN FOR THIS ADDITIONAL STEP!!! ***WE DO NOT PICK UP FROM AJ.*** Auke Bay/Statter Harbor - Instructions: 11497 Auke Bay Harbor Road Juneau, AK 99801. The meeting time on this end of town is 20 mins after your tour's start time. Watch for the JWT bus pulling into Statter Harbor at approximately the same time. We arrive and exit on the side of the marina with the grey building that has a "V" shaped roof. (Not the Harbor Office building.) *If you are planning on meeting at Statter Harbor please text your name, date and tour time; otherwise there might be a search party looking for you at the downtown pick up location.     Let us show you around the waters of Juneau Alaska! We will pick you up in our complimentary bus (30 mins each way) and take you to our custom 40' catamaran with individual seating for 20 passengers. Once aboard our vessel our experienced naturalist and captain will take you out for 2.25 hours to show you the thriving marine wildlife in SE Alaska. We have designed our vessels for this area with spacious walk around decks so you can view whales in a more intimate setting. Join us for an experience that is a step above the rest.

Great experience

Fortunately, it had stopped raining by the time we got on the bus! We had arrived in Juneau on a cruise ship and the representative and the bus were easy to locate. We were taken straight to the Marina with the bus driver providing an interesting commentary for the short journey. We boarded the boat and within a short time after a brief safety chat, we were seeing whales! The biologist Josh was very knowledgable and Captain TJ was a friendly personable guy with a wealth of knowledge. It was a great way to spend an afternoon with two professionals and I would highly recommend this company.

Amazing experience! This tour was exactly as advertised: Easy to access from the cruise ship, on time, knowledgeable driver. Small boat with great captains! They were knowledgeable and entertaining. Of course the best part was actually seeing several whales! We would highly recommend this whale watching tour!

The bus driver, Cedar, provided a lot of great information about Juneau, and Josh and TJ made the boat tour really enjoyable! We saw orcas and humpback whales, and we actually had a sunny day which is rare for that time of year. Also, the fact that the tour was limited to 20 people was a huge bonus.

TJ and were awesome and we felt very safe under their guidance. We saw many humpback whales after a 30min float to where the whales were feeding. The bus driver, Cedar, was a wealth of information about the area. If you like to support small businesses, these are the folks to support!

There are not enough good words to describe how WONDERFUL this whale watching was!

Our crew members were FABULOUS and so patient and DETERMINED to find whales for us to see...they did not disappoint! Great personalities and a good driver of the boat! My friends and I squealed with delight and loved our trip!
