Overview

We have the newest rental equipment in Crystal River with top-notch customer service. Our kayaks are Crescent Kayaks, which are top-rated for stability and very easy to paddle as well. This is only for ages 3 and up.

Meeting points

We are located roughly 200 feet from Route 19 in Crystal River. You will arrive at our location and watch a required video from U.S. Fish and Wildlife. We will then provide you directions to our local park where you meet our employees and pick up your rental equipment.

Itinerary

This package comes with everything you need to enjoy your day on the water including a Crescent Tandem Kayak for two people ages 3 and up including one adult and 500 pounds of total weight, 2 paddles, 2 life vests, and a map of the area. Our kayaks are very stable and easy to paddle so all skill levels are comfortable. Whether it is your first time or your 100th time, you will love our kayaks. Crystal River is such a beautiful place and has so many things to see, such as manatees, dolphins, birds, otters, and many different fish. THREE SISTERS SPRINGS IS CLOSED TO ALL WATERCRAFT FROM NOVEMBER 15Th THROUGH MARCH 31ST EACH YEAR AND MOST DAYS YOU CAN NOT SWIM INSIDE EITHER! This is only for ages 3 and up. We require you arrive 30 minutes prior to your start time to watch a video from the FWC and sign waivers. There is a City of Crystal River launch fee per vessel rented. This will be collected at our shop before departure and you will receive a wristband to wear while on the water. There is an option to park at our shop and walk to the launch point or pay $5 and park at the park where we launch for the entire day. IF YOU PLAN ON SWIMMING DURING MANATEE SEASON (NOVEMBER 15 - MARCH 31), WE REQUIRE RENTING OUR SWIM PACKAGE IF YOU PLAN ON GETTING IN THE WATER. THIS IS DESIGNED TO HELP PROTECT MANATEES AND IS NOT DUE TO THE COLD WATER. OUR SWIM PACKAGE EXTRA COAST PER PERSON AND INCLUDES A WETSUIT, MASK, SNORKEL, DIVE FLAG, ANCHOR, AND NOODLE.

Great experience. Kayak rental made it easy to be able to kayak to the springs. Saw so many manatees! When one of our kayaks tipped over, RJ, a tour guide who happened to be near with his group, kindly helped us out. Thanks so much RJ!

We had a wonderful time. We saw manatees , turtles , fish and baby alligators. The weather was great and the water felt amazing.

We had a threesome and they accommodated us with an extra one single. Liz was great. She needed a speaker on her front and back. We saw so many manatees! Great pics to buy, too.

Fantastic time seeing these beautiful animals in a stunning setting.. the water was very cloudy due to so many animals but saw so many.. the staff were excellent and took care at all times and made the trip with a wealth of knowledge. Real value for money and would love to d9 it again.

Crystal River is a nice river with many forks to explore. We did not see any manatees. Where we launched was very busy.
