Perfect Day in Curacao

This tour spoiled us! Jessica personalized our tour based on our interests, brought us snorkeling gear, took us to the best local lunch spot with a stunning view, and overall made sure our day was perfect. Curacao is such a beautiful island and it was so fun learning a bit more about the culture and lifestyle from a local perspective. It was also so nice that it was just myself, husband, and our 2 friends (another couple). The price was reasonable and Jessica was so sweet and fun. Highly recommend!

Sherwin was the absolute best. This was by far the best tour we've ever been on in all of our travels. We were able to do whatever we wanted but Sherwin had idea to give. He made the day so fun. From the distillery, to the sea turtles, to the meals with a view, to the wild flamingos, to the local snack shop, to the perfume lab. We had a blast the whole time. What a great experience and we can't thank Sherwin enough!

Cruise to Curaçao

My wife and I visited Curaçao on a cruise. Our tour with Joey was awesome! We toured the caves and snorkeled with sea turtles. The tour also included scenic stops to take pictures. Joey is very knowledgeable about the island and passionate about providing visitors with a phenomenon tour! He took us to a local restaurant overlooking the water for lunch. We were on an 11 night cruise and this was the best meal of the entire vacation! We definitely felt like we received the best use of our time with this tour. Next time we are in Curaçao we will visit Joey and his team again! Highly recommend!!!

My husband and I were visiting Curaçao as a cruise ship stop on our recent cruise and decided to book this private tour with Gone Caribe and I was so extremely impressed with everything, from beginning to end!! Some things that I greatly appreciated was how clean his car was, he provided snorkeling equipment, extra towels, and bottled water!! This is a husband and wife owned business, and Joey was our tour guide (he is the husband owner of the husband/wife duo). Joey was prompt at answering any questions we had leading up to the tour, especially when we had to alter the time frame of the tour due to the cruise ship altering the time that we were in the Curaçao port that day. Joey picked us up at our pickup location (Starbucks) right at the time he said he would be there, and the Starbucks was very easy to navigate to from the cruise ship when we got off, it was not a far walk at all. From the moment Joey picked us up until he dropped us off was go go go and so much fun! He took us to two different swimming spots, one of which I got to snorkel with sea turtles! When I mentioned to Joey swimming with turtles was a bucket list item for me, he made it happen. He also took us to a Curaçao national park where he gave us an exquisite history lesson and talked about all the scenery we were seeing at the park. Additionally, we went to see flamingos as well! At the end of the day when we were discussing our second swimming spot, Joey mentioned taking us to one of Curaçao’s best beaches, but when I asked to experience a less busy/less touristy beach, he was thrilled to oblige my request and took us to one of his favorite local spots! During both of our swimming experiences, he carried our bags and sat with them so we could enjoy our time without worry about our things! Between our swimming, he also made a restaurant reservation at a local place and helped us order local cuisine! We were able to ask him questions about the food, of which he answered thoroughly and then he helped us pick out our meals. Thanks to him, my husband and I both got to try some new foods that we have been raving about ever since. Joey also took so many photos of my husband and I throughout the day, photos that will last a lifetime for us. I had been to Curaçao before on a prior cruise, and loved the island then, but after spending the day with Joey I love Curaçao even more now. He is such a kind person and clearly well loved throughout the island. He taught us so much throughout the day and made the learning so much fun! At the end of our tour, he dropped us off right back at our cruise ship, we didn’t even have to walk! This tour was absolutely amazing. I can’t express enough how appreciative I am of Joey and his time and passion to his business!! If/when I get to return to Curaçao, Joey is going to be my first call!

I absolutely recommend Gone Caribe if you want to have a wonderful time when you are in Curacao. Sherman was our guide, he was so personable, knowledgeable and Fun! He knew all of the special places to go and what to see, as he grew up on the Island. Also, he is a photographer and took some memorable pictures of our family. Don’t miss this!
