This was a fantastic trip in all respects, despite it only being for half a day. The boat was only a short level walk from our cruise ship. We were 15 in total on the boat including the guide, Tuyen. It was quite a big boat so we had plenty of room. The scenery was stunning. At one point we got off to go into much smaller boats that were paddled mainly by women. There were 4 in each boat, and we were taken through the rocks into a lagoon. It was beautiful. On returning to our main boat we were served an amazing lunch. We had fried fish, the tenderest squid I have ever eaten, oysters, chicken, beef, clams, twelve different dishes to share in total. Fortunately not huge portions but certainly enough. We got back to the ship in time for its afternoon sailing on to Ho Chi Minh. Throughout Tuyen our guide was very attentive without being "in your face". He took photos for us and eased out language difficulties with the boat staff and the lady paddlers. I thoroughly recommend this trip relaxing in the sun and especially if you like fish and seafood . Well done Tuyen. Thank you.
