This was a wonderful walking tour! You'll love Stavros. He is so easy going, you feel as though he is a friend telling you about his hometown. A knowledgeable friend! He gives you so much interesting background but you never feel as though he is lecturing. Ask him for recommendations on places to go and cafes with good food!

Excellent tour, highly recommended. Stavros is engaging and knowledgeable, willing to help and share the beauty of Athens. With an artist's eye he finds the best spots for photos and has details and stories to make this tour even more interesting. He'll also help with finding good prices if you want to do some shopping. Thank you Stavros for sharing your mom's oranges with us, and for a great tour!

Absolutely loved our tour with Stavros! He is extremely friendly and knowledgable and showed us the best of Athens. He introduced us to Fredo Cappucinnos (always with cinnamon) and we were hooked for the rest of our time in Greece.

Stavros was wonderful. I highly recommend his tour to become acquainted with the area. We made a quick visit of the archeological sites, historic churches, and some out-of-the way spots covering far many more places than I could have trying to navigate with my phone. He modified the route and offered other recommendations based on my interests. Now I know what I will spend more time on. If I don't make back to each for a detailed visit, at least I made it there once. Note: this tour does not enter the ticketed sites. Buy a combined 7 site entry ticket for further exploring.

Stavros really made my day. He was super flexible, accommodating the fact that my flight got in a bit later than expected. He gave me a lovely tour of the neighborhoods chatting rather than lecturing about the sights. He helped me make wise decisions in terms of buying souvenirs (no sugary treats for my pre-diabetic mom). I felt as though I spent the afternoon with an old friend. Highly recommend as a way to get the lay of the land before diving into museums and such.
