    Acropolis is an archaeological wonder, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and one of the most instantly recognizable landmarks of Athens. Skip the long lines and see the ancient Greek temple of Parthenon which is dedicated to Athena, the goddess of war as well as Propylae, the temple of Athena Nike, Erecheion and Herodes Atticus from the top. Towering over the capital, Acropolis is a very impressive sight, and walking around on its grounds, gives the visitor a feeling of awe and a true sense of the greatness of the ancient Greeks.

The experience was wonderful. by booking the tickets before from tripadvisor makes easier to visit. This site is trusted. I got 3 times the confirmation of tickets which was good, so I don't need to search for it. The Acropolis site was amazing with enthusiastic view of Athens from top.

Self guided tour was easy to use. Instructions were simple! Lovely to use it at your own speed, pause when needed, and listen in any order.

Visiting acropolis and Panthenon

Must see. Recommend audio tour but don’t need a guide. Easy to do self walking tour. It’s a hike up the hill, do it at your own pace. Take pictures on the way down as you will know which spots are the best and save you time. Go either early morning at 8 -9 am or late evening. In between you have larger crowds. At the most you will be done in an hour to hour and half. Recommend for kids above 5th grade. Take water and some snacks if diabetic. Savor the place than taking pics and enjoy. One of the must see place in the world

Beautiful, History is incredible, view is phenomenal. The rocks over the years with people walking on them became polished and smooth.
