Enliven your stay in Marrakech by booking a quad biking tour in the High Atlas Mountains. Take a refreshing day out in Marrakech countryside on your Quad bike and discover the beauty of the Majestic High Atlas Mountains with its snow-capped peaks, green meadows, fruit trees and refreshing lakes. Be surprised by this exciting guided quad biking adventure in the heart of High Atlas walls with its famous Turtle valley, Eucalyptus forests and Agafay Desert. Immerse yourself in this exotically different world with the cool Atlas mountains fresh air and the culture of the Atlas populations.

Itinerary

  • Lac Lalla Takerkoust

    Soak up the cool and fresh mountain air as you leave the city and on arrival at the quad bike start point, listen to a safety briefing and driving instructions. You will be provided with equipment, including a helmet, gloves, goggles and a cheich (turban-style scarf). Then, once settled on your vehicle, take off behind your guide on a 2-hour tour, traveling at a pace that suits you and in a friendly atmosphere. Follow dusty country trails and drive into the famous Agafay Desert and Turtle Valley, soaking up views of the snow-capped High Atlas peaks and majestic Lake Takerkoust on route. Rumble through eucalyptus forests and Berber villages, and stop to enjoy a traditional Moroccan mint tea. Finally, before returning to the start point, stop on a high plateau that commands wonderful views over the blue waters of the 4.3-mile (7-kilometer) lake spread at the foot of the Atlas range. Be sure to bring your camera: it’s a must on this trip!

Amazing, Fun, Memorable Experience!!

We loved this trip. It was one of the most fun things we did in Morocco! We went with friends from our tour group we were on as an extra excursion while staying in Marrakech. The driver was on time and picked us up at our hotel in a very clean and well-maintained car. Once we got there, we were fitted for gear and briefed on safety, and then did a few test rides to make sure everyone was comfortable with controls and turning etc., then it was off with our guide to start riding! We saw so many landscapes from desert, to mountain vista, to lakes, to small towns. It was so much fun and we even saw camels along the way. The others in our group that didn't go with us missed out on an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a little adventure right outside of Marrakech!

Fabulous experience and amazing scenery

Our quad experience was fantastic. We got picked up from our Riad and it was just the 2 of us. We were driven to the desert and had a private 2 hour tour, it was amazing. We stopped for tea and had a backdrop of the Atlas mountains. Our guide took us through villages, desert tracks and parts of the area we would never see by car. The quad is easy to drive and it was one of the best trips we did during our stay. Thank you all.

Miles long continuous route with good machine, helmet and goggles provided. Cleaned dust off of us with compressed air at conclusion of trips. Everything was great!
