This was a wonderful chance to get out of the city and see the Dales! Ben, our guide/driver, was excellent! My kids and I all learned lots of historical facts as well as local stories and legends. The itinerary is a great mix of natural features, historic buildings, charming villages and tasty places to get lunch and tea. This scenery was beautiful all along the drive and the small bus was very comfortable.

Yorkshire Dales tour with John S. was absolutely fantastic! It was a perfect day of relaxation, informative commentary, and breathtaking stops. John was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, offering insights into the history, geography, and local culture of the Dales, which made the experience even more enriching. The scenery was spectacular at every turn, and I felt like truly got to experience the essence of the Yorkshire Dales. Absolutely stunning. Was a brilliant day out, scenery was amazing. There was so much included within our tour and was lucky enough to visit the day before the filming of all creatures great and small so the buildings were dressed ready for filming. We also visited Bolton castle where they held a lovely falconry display, among displaying actual rooms from how the castle would have been layed out in Victorian times. Among many others stops on the way. We had John.S as our tour guide who was outstanding. His knowledge of York and the surrounding areas was phenomenal. There was not a question he was not able to answer and really made the day.He was also a very competent driver.
