A great Friday tour in Ocatlan - market day

Jaime was able to take us through the Friday Ocatlan market, which would have been crazy to navigate on our own. He shared a lot of stories about what we were seeing. Then he took us to see the Morelos murals in the city hall, then to a great restaurant for lunch. And then to a wonderful black pottery workshop.

Tomas is Awesome

Tomas is the best guide I have ever worked with and super honest, I actually booked this trip for 2020 and paid in full, but then Covid 19 happened and I wasn't able to travel till 2022, so when I contacted him two years later to say we were coming and hoping to still do our tour, he remembered me and that I had paid and scheduled our market trip right then. The market was great, all the local fruits and vegetables were so beautiful and fresh and Tomas was right there to help us chose the best and freshest items, and help with the negotiations and payment. On the way back we went to several beaches and then had lunch at a beachside restaurant in Zipolite that had the best shrimp cocktail ever!

We had an awesome time learning about Oaxaca. Tomas our tour guide is an excellent guide. He clearly explained every site he took us to visit. We highly recommend him.
