So family of 5. Me and wife in our 50’s and three children. Son 22, son 19, daughter 17. Had the Reef riders booked as an independent excursion on our Princess Cruise when we stopped in Antigua. Booked it early. About a week before cruise get a email from the owners (Andy and son Charlie) that because of supply chain issues the Nee Reef rider equipment they have on order would not be in until the end of the year. Their system mistakingly let me book it or because I was so early before they suspended bookings. They apologized and offered us either their 4 or 6 hours private boat charter for the same price. The 6 hr charter is about double the amount of the reef riders. So talked with our family and we decided to do the 6 hr charter. It includes an open bar and lunch. They arranged for a taxi from port to their pick up location and return trip. They take you out for a nice 90 minute ride around the island then back to a secluded cove to anchor and have water fun. Snorkeling, water floats and such. Lunch is made and served also while in the cove. Then they head on back at the appropriate time to get you picked up and back to where you need to go. Andy and Charlie are AMAZING people. Service and whole experience was outstanding. Food and drinks were really good. Enjoyed talking to both of them as they were once tourists themselves and decided to try island life and run this business. Will definitely do the actual Reef Riders when we visit again but don’t pass up the opportunity to charter their private boat. They will even do some deep sea fishing if that is something you are interested in. Just give them heads up when booking.

A MUST DO! Tigger was an amazing host while in Antigua. From Abe our taxi driver whom Reef Riders arranged, to his knowledge of the island with so much rich history and culture. To meeting Rachel who got us all checked in got our snorkels, provided water and had sunscreen and phone protecting pouches for us. To Tigger who undoubtedly loves his job and where he lives. We got to drive out a ways and the views were out of this world. Once we got to (his office) we got all our equipment on and jumped on in. There was a pretty strong wind which made it kinda hard to snorkel and we kept drifting off but got to look down and the reefs was stunning! While I wish the wind wasn’t so strong, unfortunately we can not control Mother Nature. If you want to see the island on your own private tour I highly recommend booking directing with Reef Riders you will not be disappointed!

Had a great trip, Tigger the guide was very friendly and the boats are great fun especially when you hit the big waves. Plenty of fish to be seen whilst snorkeling

My wife and I have literally just finished our reef rider snorkelling tour and we are so glad we did this activity. Rachael picked us up from our resort and took us to the dock where we met Tigger our guide. We went through a brief safety talk and what would be happening whilst out in the water. Once out on the boats OMG!!!! They are great fun but you definitely need to respect the vehicle. Although they have never flipped or capsized I wouldn’t want to be the first to do it. We made our way out to a fantastic snorkelling location where we had about an hours worth of discovery and then the ride back to the marina. Tigger was fantastic throughout the session and I cannot recommend these guys enough! If you are in Antigua do this trip!!

Very accurate description on the site, boats were pacy but not jet ski speed. Great ride out to the reef and some amazing snorkelling - so many different types of fish. Bring a hat with a either a string or that’s tight fitting , similarly with sunglasses. A great combo of boat and snorkelling.
