Overview

The Valley is an old caldera of an extinct volcano, a rustic country village where you can see hot springs, waterfalls, painted stones, beautiful view towards the top of a mountain with the shape of a sleeping woman.

Itinerary

  • El Valle de Anton

    We will begin a journey of almost 2 hours in vehicles until we reach the Anton Valley, located 600 meters above sea level. El Valle is an old caldera of an extinct volcano, whose slopes are covered by humid tropical forests and are crossed by rivers with waterfalls.

  • El Nispero Zoo and Botanical Garden

    El Níspero, which is home to numerous endemic and endangered species,

  • El Chorro Macho

    We will visit one of the most famous waterfalls in the place, and where we will have the opportunity to appreciate the nature and fauna of the area.

  • El Valle de Anton

    We will make a brief stop to visit the public market of the Valley so that you can learn a little about the culture of its crafts and local products.

  • La Piedra Pintada

    One of the most enigmatic points of the valley, located on the slopes of the sleeping Indian, is the painted stone of volcanic origin, where pre-Columbian petroglyphs are drawn, which have an uncertain meaning, it is one of the largest found. The locals have several theories and they love to tell them on the site.
