Overview

Dress in a traditional Japanese kimono and stroll through the charming streets of Japan, capturing beautiful photos and creating cherished memories. We offer a wide selection of kimonos, ranging from traditional patterns to modern designs, with experienced staff to assist you with dressing. The package includes the kimono itself, sash belt (obi), Japanese clutch, sandals, and socks. Don't worry, hairstyling is available at an additional cost. If it's not too busy, the dressing process can take less than an hour, and you can set off on your adventure. If you wish to enjoy Japan in a kimono until the evening, next-day return is also possible (additional fee). Now, have a fantastic time exploring Japan!

Itinerary

Enjoy exploring the streets of Asakusa while dressed in a kimono. First, visit the store in Asakusa and choose a kimono you'd like to wear. Once you've decided on the kimono, our staff will assist you with getting dressed. Once you're ready, step outside and enjoy adventuring through the wonderful streets of Asakusa in your kimono! Feel free take beautiful photos and immerse yourself in Japanese culture. You can return the kimono anytime, as long as it is before 6:00pm! [What is the Wargo Deluxe Plan?] This plan gives you the flexibility to choose from additional options: Upgrading the grade of the kimono and obi (Japanese belt) is also possible up to a certain level. Additionally, a standard hairstyle is included (only for women). Please note that the available choices of kimono grades may vary by store, so please check with the store for specific options. ※If you make a reservation after 3pm the day before, you may have to wait a little while at the store.

Thoroughly rewarding kimono experience!

Fantastic kimono rental and dressing. So well done by friendly and very skilled team. We added on reasonable hair styling and upgraded some of the kimonos and accessories. The nearby temples are gorgeous for taking photos. We enjoyed this thoroughly. Only thing I would add. Warbo is on the 4th floor of the hotel building. Tiny bit hard to find initially.

There’s nothing like wearing a kimono in Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan. I am especially happy that the shop has larger sizes for taller/wider people. The ladies working at the store don’t speak any English, so do use a translator app like Google Translate or Papago. Despite the language barrier, they were very helpful, and fast at helping my family and I get dressed up. Even our hair took little to no time in getting done! Great experience.

me and my sisters went to do this experience and absolutely loved it! Staff was super friendly, and nice and the kimono's were so beautiful that we wanted to wear them all! We originally didnt have hair styling included but we could add that on the day and pay the difference there. You get to wear the outfits for quite a long time so we went to a nearby park to take photos and people would stop us to take pictures and clap as we were walking by so safe to say we had a blast and felt super beautiful. Definitely an experience we will cherish for our lifetime! Highly recommend it!!!!

The proprietors were very prompt, courteous and respectful. They dressed me to the look I wanted with their wide choices of Kimono and accessories. The only recommendation I would make is to make their address very clear because it wasn’t easy to find. It’s in the 4th floor of the building where Uniqclo is housed. That would probably be a more descriptive clue.
