History and new foods - a complete experience!

Alejandra took my daughter and I on this walking tour our 2nd day in Tokyo, felt like we were getting to know Asakusa, plus info re other areas of Tokyo with a good friend. The walk was not too long for us, full of history, religion and knowledge of Japan, the Shrine in the evening was super special, the food was yummy comfort food, drinks overflowing (if you want), loved the new snacks we tried (and bought to take home) - just a fun, relaxing, easy night to begin our Japan adventure. The photos of the 2 of us were special too! Thanks Alejandra and Arigato Tours! (PS we paid $120usd each, not 230+ ea).

Awesome tour with Wesley! Learned so much more about Japan and the area than I thought I would. My 13 yr old daughter had a great time as well. Wes did a great job tailoring the tour to best fit the group.

My guide Josh was very knowledgeable about the area and about the local food and customs. Overall it was great experience. I especially enjoyed eating noodles at a standup counter and the Izy Kaya.

Michie and Wesley are excellent guides! They were very personable, knowledgeable, and patient. It was 35C with 70% humidity that day and they even gave us their own cooling products to stay cool! I appreciated how quickly Viator accommodated last minute information a nut allergy in our group. All the food was delicious and no epi pen required! The only improvement for Viator is the location map in their app. The first map was great for directions to the train station. But the second map to the meeting point is actually the end point. I assumed it was the correct location without double checking the address. So we were late meeting up with our guides. Overall, it was a fantastic tour and I would highly recommend it!

Our guide Kay was fantastic! The food selections were authentically Japanese and off the beaten path. She provided depth to the food tastings with her expansive knowledge of Japanese language, history, and culture. She made it enjoyable for all ages. A must do in Tokyo.
