There is nothing Olivier doesn’t know about the battlefields. He picked us up from St Quentin train station and took us to the John Monash Centre which was really interesting and interactive. My 17 and 19 year olds thought it was really interesting. Olivier also took us to many other sites of importance, all the while explaining where the front line and trenches were with his iPad of maps, diagram and photos. At the end of the day he dropped us back at the train station. Highly recommend this private tour.

We felt privileged to visit the battlefields and memorials around Amiens with Olivier. He provided so much information about the places we visited, so we could understand what we were seeing. We got to see the Australian Memorial and the Sir John Monash Centre, which were so moving. But we also saw so much more, from trenches to mine holes, the Australian school in Villers-Brettoneux, memorials and could get a real sense of the history we usually can only read about. Olivier was a fantastic guide, so knowledgeable and reliable - this is the perfect way to get a real feel for the battlefields of WW1. I would absolutely recommend this tour.
