This tour is designated a Canadian Signature Experience! Be a few minutes early and meet us at STOCK Food and Drink inside the main lobby of the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. Robust refreshments await here before the tour progresses into the heart of the hotel at Rundle Bar with its chic Art Deco decor and a sublime food and beverage pairing. Next up is 1888 Chop House for a signature dish in the hotel's signature restaurant. Our grand finale is in the Vermillion Room with a chance to learn from a chef and taste another great pairing before finishing with a sweet bite. Along the way, you’ll engage with the culinary team, enjoy stories of the history, art, and architecture brought to life by our guide. Soak up the luxury of our small group private access (no more than 12). Leave having experienced the royal treatment at the "Castle in the Rockies," the majestic Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel - one of the world’s most iconic hotels, a National Historic Site in a world UNESCO setting.

A perfect way to spend 3 hours with a group of friends. Beth was a fantastic guide, the food and beverage samplings were delicious and the information about Alberta foods and the history of the hotel made it a perfect in every way. The hotel and staff were friendly and inviting. Well done Karen A for putting together a highly enjoyable tour. I would highly recommend this tour or any other of Karen A's Alberta Food Tours.

I did this tour with a friend when she was in the area and it was incredible. We loved the food and we learned all about sustainable food in Alberta. Amanda did an amazing job showing us around this national historic hotel ... the history, art, and architecture. I would do this tour again the next time I have company in the area!

Definitely a 5! Amanda was our tour guide! She was pleasant, knowledgeable and engaging with the tour and the staff! And then there was the food, the pairings and the history or the Fairmont and the area of Banff/Alberta!

The food was phenomenal, the scenery was absolutely breathtaking and Amanda, our guide, had endless knowledge of the castle, the region and the food. I also loved that she allowed each chef and waiter to tell their story and tell us about the food they prepared.
