Itinerary

First you’ll ride along the Bow River while watching for wildlife and enjoying the spectacular scenery. Midway through the ride, you’ll arrive at 3 Mile Cabin to enjoy genuine western hospitality and some tasty comfort food including steak cooked to order, baked potatoes, cowboy baked beans and Caesar salad. But before digging in, work up an appetite with a few western style games, like lassoing and horse-shoes. The ride is also perfect for youngsters. A perfect adventure for all ages of the family group and available as a lunch or dinner departure time and meal. THIS IS A WAGON RIDE ONLY. YOU WILL NOT BE RIDING ON HORSEBACK. Our establishment is located in a remote backcountry area. Due to our unique location, our kitchen operates with limited resources. We are unable to accommodate requests beyond our set menus.

Great wagon ride and BBQ

Fantastic evening riding on a wagon through the forest to a BBQ. The food was amazing and the staff were lovely. It was cold but then it was October. Blankets provided to help but wrap up warm. We had a great evening. Thank you. Wayne and Luke the horses were beautiful and our cowboys were lovely.

Entertaining outing

As I was too heavy to ride one of the horses, my wife and I booked this wagon ride instead, and were glad we did. The rides to and from the cabin were pleasant, gentle ambles with the scenic Bow River in attendance. On the way back, we came across a group of elk, which was exciting. At the cabin, the food was excellent. However, I have to especially mention our guides, who were outstanding - the banter between Mike and Anna kept us entertained throughout.

So much fun! Our guides were friendly and knowledgeable. The food and atmosphere was great! We even saw Elk on the way back to the ranch. I highly recommend.
