    Begin the tour with the pick-up and a short drive along the lake Thun to the "Beatus Caves".

  • St. Beatus-Hohlen, Swiss Caves

    Arrive at the Beatus Caves. You will discover the caves at your own on a well-built and illuminated path through the Niederhorn massif. Discover stalactites and stalagmites that formed over millions of years and immerse yourself in this unparalleled natural underground world.

    A transfer from the Caves along the lake Thun will take place for 20 minutes

  • Panoramabrucke Sigriswil

    Crossing the 340 m long suspension bridge between Sigriswil and Aeschlen offers a magnificent view of the famous Bernese Oberland peaks, the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, as well as Lake Thun. Look from the bridge into the abyss, and 182 mbelow you’ll see the bottom of Gummischlucht gorge. The view down the gorge will take your breath away.

    During two hours, you have time to discover the city of Thun with it's castle from the 12th century or the baroque church hall. The city is laid on the Aare river with beautiful views to the alps.

    From Thun, the transfer will take you along the left hand side of the lake and then into the Kander valley.

  • Nature Park Blausee

    There are lots of exciting things to discover at the Blausee nature park, a magical landscape spanning 20 hectares that was formed 15,000 years ago by a massive rock fall from the Fisistock mountain. Leave the stresses of everyday life behind and explore the magnificent nature park next to the Blausee with its attractive forest paths.

    The transfer from Blue Lake out of the valley takes you back to the lake of Thun.

    The tour ends with the lake boat ride from Faulensee to Interlaken. The one hour cruise closes the day around lake Thun and you have the chance to enjoy the views to the surrounding mountains. You will travel at your own on the lake boat and the tour will end at Interlaken West train/boat station.

This enjoyable day trip takes you the full way around Lake Thun starting from Interlaken and proceeding to all the sites (caves, suspension bridge, city of Thun for lunch and across lake via boat to Blue Lake and back again). This tour permits ample personal time to explore these sites at your own pace and since travel is most by van to various places, you aren’t sitting and waiting for public transport except for the boat, which was only 10 minutes. I would recommend this day tour without hesitation.
