Overview

Salsa music and dance are a big aspect of the Puerto Rican lifestyle and culture. Learn the basics of it with or without a partner in a 1-hour beginner class! The park where the class is held is very centrally located with on walking-distance many bars and restaurants to have dinner and/or go out at night and practice what you have just learned! Your instructor is a talented, fun and dynamic dancer. Take your chance and learn from the best, have fun and enjoy! You will be guided through the first steps of Salsa dance at a beautiful outdoor location. After your class you will be ready in no time to hit the dance floor!

Receive a 1 hour Salsa Dance Lesson. This class is open for any level, however, it is tailored towards beginners. You do not need to have a dance partner to participate.

Our instructor, Steven was very personable, energetic and kind. My family had an amazing time learning the techniques of salsa. Steven choose good music to learn to and always made sure he was going a good pace for the whole group. 10/10 would recommend.

I took class last year Dec 2023 and the instructor was very nice. He was patient and informative. I enjoyed the class and recommend class to others.

All the service personnel were friendly and eager to accommodate my needs, making me feel comfortable and at home. I will definitely stay at Verdanza the next time I travel to PR. It’s currently being remodeled, so when I return, it will be even more beautiful.

My husband and I had a great time at this class! We both came in with zero dancing skills of any form or fashion and told our instructor that we dance like broomsticks in a washing machine, but we were there to have a good time! Only a few minutes into the class, we were getting the steps and footwork figured out with very little effort and feeling more confident than either of us expected. Our group had a fun time with each other and our instructor had the perfect charisma and passion to teach her students the basics of salsa dancing. I definitely highly recommend!
