Wales Adventure with Family & Friends
Published on Nov, 2024
The entire process of planning and then touring with John went so smoothly. He took my rough wishlist and turned it into an amazing 4-day adventure! We visited a variety of places in Wales between Llandudno, Snowdonia, and Cardiff. This trip exceeded my expectations!
Simply the BEST!

John is an absolute GEM! I called at the last minute and he squeezed us in. I had no agenda- I simply asked him to show us what he loved and dis he ever come through! I couldn’t recommend more highly!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wonderful memories to last a lifetime
Published on Oct, 2024
Our experience with John Pritchard and Celticos was absolutely spectacular, giving us a lifetime of wonderful memories. I was interested in setting up three days of touring North Wales, returning each day to Llandudno which was our base of lodging. I gave John a list of the things we most wanted to do, specifically the castles of the "Iron Ring"... he took our list and quadrupled it with amazing places to visit such as Penmon Point, that village with the insanely long name, the Nant Gwrtheyrn Welsh cultural center, Snowdonia National Park... the list goes on, and even though they were event-filled days, we never once felt rushed or harried by the schedule. We had time to explore at our leisure, including some wonderful little places for lunch. All the while John kept up the pleasant banter with historical information and cultural references, including how to say some basic, PG-approved Welsh terms. The only negative is that the trip had to end at some point!
We are very grateful to John for his expertise, his congeniality and superior driving skills. I look forward to touring with him again in the future and would give 10 stars if I could!
Fabulous week tour in Wales. Five stars!!!
Published on Oct, 2024
We spent a week exploring Wales with John and it was absolutely terrific. We've traveled a good bit and this is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. John is delightful and super professional. He has great pre-trip communications and worked with us on an itinerary that included two afternoons of golf for my husband. His love and enthusiasm for his native land really shines through and you get to see places that most tourists would never find on their own. We really appreciated not having to worry about driving and just sitting back and enjoying the spectacular scenery. He is so knowledgeable about history and the sites you visit...not to mention just great fun! We would definitely recommend you use John and Celticos if you are planning a trip to Wales. Diolch, John!!!
Great tour of Wales!

Great tour of Wales!
Our cruise line stopped at the Holyhead port in July 2024. We didn't like any of the cruise line tours on offer so we were looking for something else. We are so glad we found Celticos - and John Pritchard! After our tour and back on the ship, some of our fellow passengers were disappointed to just have wandered the port on their own. They didn't enjoy their day nearly as much as we did.
Trusting someone you don't know to get you back to the cruise ship on time feels like a bit of a gamble, but from the consistent and easy communication we had with John in advance of our tour, the positive online reviews, and also immediately when we met him, this concern was put to rest. John was well aware of the time and kept us in good shape all day, so rest assured you are in good hands.
And... it was an amazing tour! We packed a lot into about 6.5 - 7 hours! We saw a beautiful mountain pass in Snowdonia, Beddgellert - a stunning Welsh town, lots of heather (I had always wanted to see it), the Menai bridge, Swallow Falls, the town with the longest name, Conway Castle and South Stack lighthouse. Each site was incredibly beautiful. Wish we could have had longer at many of the spots!
John was a knowledge and friendly tour guide. He totally adapted the tour to what we were looking for. His vehicle was comfortable and reliable. He found great places for bathroom and lunch / snacks. All of our needs were met perfectly. And - we really enjoyed meeting John!
We would highly recommend Celticos and John Pritchard!
