Overview

We will be walking and getting the metro through the charming neighborhoods of Paris, where we'll see classic monuments and hidden gems. Included in the tour are 40 gems of Paris, including must-see monuments Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumphe, Notre Dame, Pantheon, Louvre. We will share stories with you and show you our favorite spots for Paris treats (including a stop for our favorite crepe!) This is the perfect tour for you when you first arrive: to help you get your bearings, see the icons, learn the city's fascinating history and have fun at the same time.

Meet outside the metro Saint Germain de Prés on the other side of the road (exit 1 - Church side).

Itinerary

  • Saint Germain des Pres Quarter

    We will meet you outside the metro Saint Germain des Pres (exit 1) and begin the tour with an exploration of this charming neighborhood, once a bohemian hang out for artists and writers.

    25 minutes

  • Eglise Saint-Sulpice

    We will learn the fascinating history of this church and explore the inside.

    15 minutes

  • Luxembourg Gardens

    We will stroll through these gorgeous gardens and pass by the Luxembourg Palace.

    25 minutes

  • Pantheon

    We will walk up the hill and admire the view of this architectural marvel. To leave time to see all the sights on this tour we do not go inside the Pantheon.

  • Quartier Latin

    Wander through the old Roman streets before stopping in a charming food street for a 30 minute snack / lunch break.

    1 hour

  • Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris

    We will see the outside of the ancient Notre Dame Cathedral (the inside is currently closed for reconstruction).

  • Seine River

    Enjoy a photo moment as we cross the river

    15 minutes

  • Hotel de Ville

    This neo-renaissance style monument has been the seat of the Paris Council since the 1300s. After viewing it we will get the metro to our next stop.

    15 minutes

  • Louvre Museum

    We will get the metro to the Louvre Museum and learn its history as we view the exterior. To allow time to see all the sights on this tour we do not go inside the Louvre Museum. We will catch the metro to our next stop.

    30 minutes

  • Arc de Triomphe

    We will get the metro to the Arc de Triumph, view the arch and gaze down the Champs Elysses.

    30 minutes

  • Eiffel Tower

    We will get the metro and end the tour at Place du Trocadero - to get the best photo of the Eiffel Tower! We do not go inside.

    25 minutes

  • Place du Trocadero-et-du-11-Novembre

    The end point of the tour - at the viewing point of the Eiffel Tower.

    5 minutes
