Seen by millions of people all over the world, this exhibition offers a fascinating look inside the human body traditionally only available to medical professionals. Witness hundreds of actual preserved human organs in the exhibit, plus more than a dozen full body specimens that belonged to people who lived in China and died of natural causes. Learn how top dissectors and anatomy specialists in China replaced all the water and tissue in the bodies with silicone rubber in a process called polymer preservation to make them suitable for display. Read fascinating facts about how the body works and how various diseases affect the body. Take a closer look at what lies beneath our skin. If you're comfortable with it, venture into a private room to see preserved fetuses at various stages of development. Take your time touring the extensive exhibition, and walk away with a whole new appreciation of all that your body does for you everyday.

Amazingly detailed exhibition of actual human organs

Wow this was an amazing and instructive exhibition of the interior organs of actual human cadavers and body parts that have been chemically treated so that they are preserved and the internal structure can be clearly examined. The cadavers were from China according to the exhibition and were treated with respect. This is a very comprehensive exhibition with detailed examination of each organ group, including many diseases of each. This would be a great exhibit to visit for middle school/high school students who are aspiring doctors. It really emphasizes how remarkable and complex the human body is. I took it in slowly and really enjoyed it even though I consider myself quite knowledgeable about the body. The majority of the exhibition is of individual organs/tissues as opposed to complete cadavers but there are several at the beginning. Also be prepared there are fetuses at various stages of development prior to viability.

The exhibition was absolutely fascinating. As a clinical psychologist, I was especially interested in all the exhibits of the brain and other neurological anatomy. Sensitively and respectfully presented with lots of fascinating information. Feeling grateful to the individuals who donated their bodies for the education of others.
