    Vila do GerĂªs It is the largest village within the National Park (even has the mountain name itself). We will pass by to capture some curiosities and attractions.

  • Peneda-Geres National Park

    Easy hike to discover and penetrate a little into more protected sections of the National Park

  • Terras de Bouro

    Beautiful lagoons where you can bathe or simply admire.

    1 hour

  • Montalegre

    On the land of the wolf we will discover how the locals chased and killed the wolf on the old days. A short walk discovering a small village and lunch break will be done here.

  • Arcos de Valdevez

    Breathtaking views which are impressive due to the size and characteristics of the mountain.

  • Vieira do Minho

    Amazing waterfalls where you can bathe, or simply admire and photograph.

  • Trilho Da Geira

    Stroll on a trail that is more than 2000 years old. The Roman Geira is visible and walkable in several sections of the National Park, and we will be part of that history.

This is a great day tour to see the beautiful scenery of Geres National Park. Ricardo was an excellent guide and he brought us to select scenic spots--viewpoints, mountain streams, pools, which we really enjoyed.

We really enjoyed our private day tour from Porto with Ricardo exploring the GerĂªs Natural park. As it was our first time exploring this region, we were looking forward to having an overview of the beautiful park and Ricardo delivered exactly that, in a very relaxing way. The day was filled with beautiful landscapes, exploring little villages, a bit of hiking, a refreshing swim in a beautiful waterfall, and so on. We enjoyed an excellent lunch in a small village and had ice cream by the beach (yep there are beaches in GerĂªs :). We absolutely recommend Ricardo as tour guide, very friendly, knowledgeable and easy going. When coming back to the region we will contact him again!

Bruno was amazing!! We had a 3 month old baby with us and Bruno knew exactly where to take us. We had a few very easy hikes through the national park while Bruno told us all about the history and culture of the area. He was very passionate and it showed. We stopped at some amazing view points and got to take a dip in TWO waterfall areas (still with baby). Bruno also took us to a lovely lunch and was very patient with our little one. You’ll want to book this tour with Bruno, trust me!
