Come and enjoy a hot air balloon experience over Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park, one of the most interesting volcanoes areas in Europe. A flight in a hot air balloon is a different way of travelling, float in the air, in pure peace and quiet. Enjoy the feeling of absolute freedom, perfect stillness and adventure. Ideal for nature lovers and for those who are searching new sensations, a hot air balloon flight gives you a 360º bird’s eye view of the landscape. On clear days, the views stretch from Montserrat to the Mediterranean Sea, with the Pyrenees omnipresent in the background and the dormant volcanoes below. The activity begins bright and early in the morning (between 07:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., according to the season) in Vol de Coloms facilities, next to Croscat volcano.

Fantastic experience.

What a way to travel and soar above the trees. One of the best trips I’ve done on holiday. Started with coffee and croissants at 7am a 2hr flight with safe and gentle landings. After packing up the balloon we were driven back the centre for a fantastic brunch.

We had THE BEST experience this morning. We were warmly greeted on our arrival at the company's base & given the required paperwork whilst being directed into a reception room for coffee & pastries where we could watch the team inflate the balloons for todays flight out picture windows overlooking the balloon field. There were only 2 balloons today, often there are 5 on any day. The team were very good, explaining what would happen & going through safety protocols. We enjoyed lovely cool fizzy drinks (champagne) & cake while up in the air. Our pilot was very experienced & knowledgable & was always happy to answer the many questions we had. Upon landing (super soft touchdown) the crew were quick & efficient in deflating & packing up the balloon before our drive back to the company base for breakfast. It was a wonderful experience sitting with the crew, including the chase crew, for a great breakfast of local produce. It is great that this company support the local traders, producers & social enterprises. The facilities at the company base are first rate in every way. They are clean, well maintained & really classy. They offer a first rate service & are friendly & generous. I cannot reccomend these guys highly enough.
