Learn how to roll 'sfoglia' (fresh pasta) by hand and how to prepare 2 simple different kinds of pasta from scratch with your Cesarina. As the icing on the cake you will learn to prepare also the iconic Tiramisu. Share your passion for the Italian cuisine as you make new friends in this hands-on cooking class. Itinerary

Learn to make the famous Pasta and tiramisù in local homes with this hands-on cooking class. Discover, cook and experience the most iconic Italian dishes with expert home cooks in their own homes. This is a shared cooking class held in a carefully selected local home in Bologna. Our Cesarine (the name of our hosts) will welcome you like part of the family and will teach you their family cooking secrets for an authentic culinary experience.

The homes provide all the essential sanitary equipment for the guests (paper towels for washing hands, hand sanitizing gel and so on). Home cooking experience with local hosts Barbara and Paula

Barbara and Paula welcomed us to their home just outside central Bologna and were great hosts. We were a family of 6 with adult children and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. They had us all making a tiramisu and then various types of fresh pasta; the pasta-making was new to all of us. Best of all, we then sat down to eat what we had made! We would certainly recommend this experience as it was a fun way to round off our trip to Bologna having tried most of the local specialities. Barbara and Paula were warm and encouraging.

We had a wonderful time with Oriana! Our small group ranged from “never stepped foot in a kitchen” to “former chef” and Oriana guided us all with skill and care. The experience was top notch and the food was delicious (if we do say so ourselves!)

A fun and personal experience that I truly enjoyed. Oriana gave us very helpful tips in making pasta and tiramisu from scratch.
