You can't visit Italy without trying at least one pasta dish... So, we'll teach you two! Learn how to roll 'sfoglia' (fresh pasta) by hand and how to prepare 2 simple different kinds of pasta from scratch with your Cesarina. As the icing on the cake you will learn to prepare also the iconic Tiramisu. Share your passion for the Italian cuisine as you make new friends in this hands-on cooking class. Itinerary

Learn to make the famous Pasta and tiramisù in local homes with this hands-on cooking class. Discover, cook and experience the most iconic Italian dishes with expert home cooks in their own homes. This is a shared cooking class held in a carefully selected local home in Modena. Our Cesarine (the name of our hosts) will welcome you like part of the family and will teach you their family cooking secrets for an authentic culinary experience.

Please note that our Cesarine are ready and thrilled to host you in their homes! All Cesarine are always very careful and attentive of the important sanitary rules needed, even more now! The homes provide all the essential sanitary equipment for the guests (paper towels for washing hands, hand sanitizing gel and so on). Remember to always maintain 1 meter distance from each other and if not, wear masks and gloves

Maria Luisa was excellent. She showed me how to make tortellini, and was a great teacher. She did not speak much English, but it was fun using my Italian. I would recommend this class for anyone.

Best hours ever spent in Modena

From the moment we met, I knew I was in the place I wanted to be to learn more about Italian culture! Angela opened her heart and her home to our small group. There was talk and conversation and joking and learning, all with an Italian flair. Angela has every tool in her toolbox necessary to create any type of pasta requested, any food desired it seems she has a knowledge of exactly how and what is required in order to create it. at its best. Experience unmatched! I would highly recommend Angela to all that may want to learn pasta making , and the art of tiramisu. Mine was a most delightful experience. Shelley

A highlight to our trip to Modena was our cooking class hosted by Maria Luisa and her close friend IIaria. Both women were expert in their cooking and patient teaching of how to make 2 kinds of pasta and tiramisu. But the best part for my wife Karen and I was the warmth and friendship we developed with these two smart, interesting women. They truly made us feel welcome like old friends in their home. We would highly recommend this experience to meet,eat and interact with these welcoming people.

Angela was so kind and halpful. We had a great time learning about not only cooking but Italian culture and experiences. The food was delicious and fun to prepare. This was a highlight of our time in Modena.
