Overview

In one day, all the secrets of Champagne : Reims cathedral visit, a cellar visit (commented in English only), Champagne tasting. You will visit Reims Cathedral, the city's most beautiful monument. You could after discover mystical and old champagne cellars. A professional guide in the cellars will give you explanations of Champagne harvesting, processing and bottling. After the visit, you will, of course, taste some Champagne. In the afternoon, you will visit the Lighthouse of Verzenay. The top of this original tower, and its belvedere, offers a wonderful overview of vineyards below. Please note that this visit will be replaced by a visit to Epernay from November 27 to December 26, 2024. On the way back to Paris, you will discover the charming village of Hautvillers. This picturesque village is famous for being the place where Dom Pérignon discovered the Champagne method. This was a 1st Class Tour, so many great things to see. Our guide was amazing with his history and informative commentary. He knows all the people along the tour and made the experience well above expectations. Plan accordingly as it is 11-12 hours in total, but well worth it. Champaign Region is maɡˈnifəsənt.
