Kayak in a crater lake and paddle your way into nature. All equipment is provided including trekking poles and kayaks. This tour is a must if you like outdoors.

Itinerary

We will head to the foothills of the Colima volcano and start our trek about 1.5 hours at an elevation of 1500 meters above sea level. After the trek we will go tho the crater lake where we will go kayaking for about 1 hour you will be able to see different types of tropical birds and trees, such as elegant trogans, coots, muscovy ducks, blue herons, night herons, among others

Eat, Trek, Laugh, Learn, Kayak and don't be afraid to ask how to flush the toilet.

We had a great time from drinking coffee, eating Camala bread, eating chiquilles to laughing as we talked and walked up the steep trail on the volcano to the avocado orchard. We learned a lot from Jupiter about the area, the coffee bean, and the cute little bird who kept beating up his reflection in the van window. Jupiter was so good to stop and rest to look around at the beautiful scenery when he was really making sure we were okay. Thank goodness he had trekking poles and tips on how to use them. Loved seeing the flag birds and Jupiter's excitement at seeing 6 at one time. The hour of kayaking was a perfect way to relax at the end of a trek. I wish I had long pants and remembered my bug spray.

The tour was more diverse than expected. Great drive, views of volcano, visit to local coffee/breakfast place, great walk that I thought might be too easy but was challenging enough, very easy short kayak with more views. Jupiter was a wealth of information. Whole tour was so educational.

Amazing family trip to the Vulcano

Jupiter offered us, a family with two kids aged 3 and 6, an adjusted private tour with shorter trekking and kayakking. The views on the vulcano were amazing, as were the stories of Jupiter about the area and past eruptions. We loved the hour kayakking on the lake, it was so serene and tranquil. Highly highly recommended and excellent value for money.

We went with my husband and my 5 year old daughter, it was great very knowledgeable of the region we got to know a lot of the history, the hiking was great with amazing views and the kayaking in the lake was fun, relaxing and with great views, 1000% recommended
