Amazing Mariela

Mariela welcomed us into her home. She was very informative and an excellent cook, I highly recommend. Her pasta recipe was simple and the tiramisu was yummy. She had the table and her dining room room sat nicely and even served us some local appetites. She served us Prosecco while we were making our pasta and local wine with our dinner. I cannot recommend using her enough.

My husband and I loved this cooking class and would highly recommend to anyone keen to try an authentic Sicilian experience with a lovely family. We were so impressed with Andrea’s cooking expertise and the delicious traditional Sicilian food we prepared with eight other guests… it has been one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily! Thank you, Andrea, for a wonderful day.

It is not very often that we manage to find activities whereby all the family enjoys (we have an 8 yr old and a teenager) however this cooking class was one of them. We totally enjoyed it and the host and his mamma were super friendly!

We had a great experience with Andrea and his family. We made so many great traditional Italian dishes and got to take anything we couldn’t eat home. There was a great combination of what we prepared and what was prepared for us which made the afternoon run very smoothly. A big bonus was being picked up and dropped off in Catania for no extra charge. We think this class is perfect value for money and we will recommend the experience to all our family and friends.

Andrea and family were excellent hosts. Great communication leading up to the experience and the day was so much fun! Very authentic Sicilian food experience in the country side made for a memorable afternoon. We considered doing a food experience in a commercial kitchen but wanted to try something a bit different. Importantly the food was delicious and feel like we can replicate at home. Very much recommended
