    This synagogue and the Tránsito one in Toledo are two of the most representative examples of the medieval period. It is quite small and its entrance is through a courtyard. The main door is profusely decorated with Mudejar plasterwork and there are three small balconies which form a trefoil archway with inscriptions from the psalms enclosed in a rectangular frame. The Tabernacle is on the east wall.

This tour provided by ANDALSUR met our expectations 100%. On time, pleasant good guide (same goes for the special guide for the Mosque). It was my third time in Cordoba (but first time for my Chinese friends) and again I was enchanted. When in Sevilla I certainly recommend this excursion!

We had an amazing day with Driss. Not only was the mosque beautiful, but we also got to see an unexpected horse competition and visit a small, local mosque (both rare exceptions). Cordoba was a very nice town, and we stopped for a good lunch there also (optional). Driss was an excellent and funny guide.

Alex was a very good guide and provided us some context on the bus for our full day tour. He took us to a “patio” and the synagogue. He also made arrangements for an optional lunch spot for those interested. Alex handed us over to Marco, a local guide, who took us through the mosque/cathedral and explained the history. He was very knowledgeable. There’s time to shop and walk around before driving back to Seville. A worthwhile tour.
