Experience two of Banff's best attractions in one guided tour, cycling the world famous Bow Valley Parkway by e-Bike to access Banff's most popular dayhike Johnston Canyon.

Itinerary

Explore more of what Banff has to offer, by e-bike! Ride with your guide on your very own e-bike to take in the serenity of Vermilion Lakes, the shaded forests of the Legacy Trail dedicated bike path. From there we travel the world famous Bow Valley Parkway section, closed to vehicle traffic, en route to Banff’s most popular day hike at Johnston Canyon. Enjoy a guided walking tour of the canyon to the spectacular Lower Falls Bridge, before meeting your return vehicle shuttle to Banff. **Note: The Bow Valley Parkway is closed to vehicles June and September. For 2023, Parks Canada is reopening the Bow Valley Parkway to vehicle traffic during the months of May, July, August and October. Traffic is limited to 60km/hr. Bike traffic will remain on the wide road shoulders. ** Level of Activity: moderate Distance: 26km biking, 3km walking Tour Length: 4 hours approx round trip

We had such a fun time on this adventure! Scott, our guide, was great! He was kind, funny, knowledgeable, and attentive to the needs of the each rider (a few of us were first timers). And to top it off, he’s a great photographer! Thanks for a memorable day, Scott! Hope to visit again some day!

A MUST do in Banff

What a breathtaking experience to e-bike to Johnston Canyon. Pablo was our guide and he had such a great sense of humor and a positive attitude the entire trip. Dress warm and enjoy the scenic views! Our tour guide Pablo was AMAZING! Highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic hike to Johnston Canyon with Megan. She was very knowledgeable and took her time with our group of 8 as we were all at different levels of fitness. She even took the time to take one of our group back to our cabins as they didn't want to do the e-bike portion of the tour. Our e-bike tour with Kristi was perfect. The e-bikes are some of the best we have ridden. She took the time to take group photos and point out some specific viewpoints. Biking along Bow Valley Parkway without vehicles was fantastic!

Jack did a fantastic job on our e-bike/hike tour! The 4 of us had never experienced an e-bike adventure and it was wonderful! By the end of the trip, we all wanted to buy bikes! The Bow River Valley Parkway was closed off to traffic, so that made it even more enjoyable! Thanks, Jack, for the beautiful ride!!
