Meat-stuffed empanadas, shrimp tacos and sweet Mexican pastries are on the menu for this 3-hour culinary tour of Cozumel. Great culinary food tour excursion

This is a must do if you are traveling to Cozumel. Erin did a great job hosting us. A comfortable van was provided to take us to 5 local food spots as well as a local market. There were only 4 of us so it was a small group. We stopped at the family run local places where everything is prepared fresh with all local products. She takes her time to explain everything about the food and how it is made. We had 2 taco stops, a soup stop, a seafood stop that included a whole fried red snapper and ceviche. The fish and ceviche was wonderful as it was my first time having ceviche. At one stop we had local made drinks that were from barley, flowers, rice and other ingredients. I chose orcheta and it was surprisingly good and sweet. It was white like milk but no milk. Also got the barley drink which was a strange color like muddy water but it was great too. Our last stop was a local bakery where we could pick out our choice of a baked good. We also visited a local market with fresh produce, beef, chicken and seafood offerings. She answered all our questions and was very friendly and informative. We highly recommend this excursion.

Tasty Food & Great Tour Guide

This tour was incredible! Being driven around the neighborhoods of Cozumel and eating at small mom and pop run restaurants really immersed us in the life in Cozumel. Our tour guide Erin was so knowledgeable about the food, preparation, life, and all things Cozumel. She was a delight to talk to about everything and my husband and I loved trying food and drinks at all of the stops. I can't emphasize enough how great this tour was and how happy I was to find this, instead of booking an excursion through our cruise ship. I can't wait to visit Cozumel again. We had an absolute blast on the Cozumel Food Tour! This tour was the perfect break from the heat and packed with delicious surprises at every stop. Our guide was welcoming, knowledgeable, and took us to hidden gems that we'd never have found on our own. The trip to a local market was my favorite. Hands down, one of our best excursions—come hungry, leave happy!
