This is a private tour so it will be just your group and guide (plus the ghosts of York). Our experienced guide will tell you tales from Yorks' gruesome past, executions, murders, the plague and ghosts, as we make our way round some of the spookiest places in the city. The price is per group. As it is by private booking, we can be flexible about your exact requirements, start time, and pick-up point. We can offer hotel pick ups* and as we can start at different locations, the tour route can be customised. *City centre only. Check before booking.

What a great ghost tour, Nigel was so informative, with interesting tales of different ghost stories around York. Definitely recommend. Managed to capture an orb.

Nigel was fantastic! Even though there were only two of us, he made the tour energetic and entertaining. There was plenty of history, but delivered in a fun and interesting way. He was a great storyteller and we were both sad when the tour ended. Great tour and highly recommend!

We booked a private tour with Nigel in York and it was a fantastic experience from start to end! Nigel was so knowledgeable about so much history in York and he kept the energy up from start to finish. Thank you Nigel for a great evening would highly recommend to anyone looking for a more intimate personal experience vs some of the large tour groups.
