My wife and I were staying in Rome for 8 days, but wanted to see Florence and Pisa. This tour seemed like the best option. Since Viator uses subcontractors I was a little worried, but everything went well on their end. Logistically, this is a complicated trip and I have to admire the planning that went into it. A driver picked us up at our apartment in Rome, took us to the train station, we took the train to Florence, we were met by a tour guide who showed us around and took us through the Acadamia, then another driver took us to Pisa and another guide took us around and up to the top of the leaning tower, then a ride to the train station, train back to Rome, and then a driver took us home. This was a lot of coordination and work for the tour operator but the drivers, guides, and logistics were planned and executed flawlessly. I personally would have wanted to see more in Florence like the duomo, but it wouldn't be possible given the time table.
On a personal note, my wife became ill when we arrived in Florence and was not feeling well throughout the day. The guides and drivers were very supportive, kind and helpful. It really demonstrated the quality of people working on this tour and the wonderful people of Italy. We really appreciated their kindness.
