We’ve done guided tours all over the world and Joe is one of the best we’ve had. His knowledge about the islands, their cultural and geological histories, and the landscapes we saw is impressive! And he’s a super nice guy with lots of Aloha. We never felt rushed. He allowed us to experience all of the incredible stops exactly how we wanted. Doing them ourselves would not have been nearly as enriching as seeing them with a guide. And I’m so glad we didn’t try to drive the road ourselves! It would have changed the experience from totally relaxing to unnecessarily stressful. Book this tour!!

Amazing way to start our Maui vacay. The pick up and drop off from our hotel, was one of the reasons I chose this tour. Yvonne was one of the nicest and most genuine people I’ve ever met. Her knowledge of the local history, culture, vegetation, and Hana animals has got to be second to none. Every place we stopped, she knew the history and the people and made sure we had enough time to do what we wanted. Cannot recommend this tour enough.

My wife and I had Yvonne as our tour guide and we had a great time! We were in the Hawaiian Islands for 14 days and this was by far the best tour. You could not ask for a more genuine, upbeat and happy person to be your guide. Mahalo Yvonne!

Kea made our day so special. Lovely young man who really knows his history and nature facts of Hawaii. Very safe driver, even on a narrow road, clean vehicle. Saw waterfalls, beautiful look outs, hidden beaches and yes, he treated us to some of the amazing banana bread at the halfway point to Hana (YUM). We had Kea as our private tour guide and had an amazing trip! He was super friendly and very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Hawaiian history, language, culture, native plants and so much more. There were so many interesting stops like waterfalls, a famous banana bread shop, lava tube, beautiful lookouts and hiking trails. Thanks to Kea this tour became the most memorable part of our Maui trip. He is the best!
