Ellen Greenberg gave our family a fantastic tour of the Getty Museum. We're 5 people ranging in age from 29 to 85. My ankle was injured, so I needed a wheelchair.
Ellen was patient, kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable. She obtained the wheelchair for us, and waited for a few of us who arrived late.
The Getty's a large museum, so Ellen showed us highlights that we had time to see in our 2 hour tour. She talked about the architecture of the museum, and the process of building it. She showed us art by Rembrandt, Bernini, artists in Leonardo da Vinci's studio, and a couple of dozen others.
Ellen was engaging. She encouraged us to ask her questions, and asked us questions to enliven the tour. She came well prepared with a big bag of laminated pictures that she used to illustrate her discussion of the art.
Her tour made our visit to the Getty much more enjoyable and informative than it would have been without her.
