Overview

A fully private experience allows you to go on your own pace. with an instructor with 10+ years of experience we keep this experience personalized and the service high. We are able to adjust the program to the more nervous or more adventurous participants as we don’t hold a strict time limit. You’ll have the experience of a lifetime, while we keep it safe!

Itinerary

The Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) program is perfect for first time divers or participants who are not certified divers. First all participants will receive a full 20 minute safety instruction on land. We’ll talk about the dive plan, how the equipment works, marine life and more. Then its time to practice and get comfortable in shallow water. This involves some exercises. Once all participants (max 4) are comfortable with their equipment its time for a real dive to a maximum depth of 40 feet. You’ll see lots of marine life, coral reef and even a shipwreck on our usual DSD divesite.

Allen does a great job of refreshing an inexperienced certified diver and making them feel better equipped to hit the water again. It was 5 years since my last dive and he did a great job of refreshing my memory and making me feel comfortable. Sad to see some of the devastation on the reefs but overall excellent experience. Plus he knew what CERN was!

A lovely and patient guide

The tour itself was very fun but what we really appreciated was our guide's patience in trying to help one member of our group get as deep as possible. He was so helpful and kind even when our group member couldn't continue. Thanks so much!

Solo private resort course dive

Excellent experience. Allen my instructor picked me up at my hotel on time, clearly explained we were going to make one stop to pick up fresh tanks and then headed to the beach Great communication with Under dog beforehand . The dive spot didn’t have tons of coral and not as many varieties of fish I’ve seen from past scuba trips but always great to be under water in the tropics. Pre screen medical forms were provided well in advance and are checked. Best to bring the paper copies vs photo. I’ve never been asked on past resort dives to submit medical verification but appreciate the due diligence and feel this adds credibility to their program

Under water adventures!

This was an amazing experience for my family and I who are all first time scuba divers. Our instructors, Allen and Albert, were patient, calm, and explained everything thoroughly to us. They were nearby at all times to make us feel safe but also enjoy the thrill of discovering the beauty of scuba diving 40 feet down. They also had wet suits for us so we would not be cold. It was also so fun to such the sea life and swim around a shopwreck.

My mom and I had the best time!!! Alan was an amazing instructor! He was so patient and sweet, especially with my 69 year old mom. He made us feel completely safe by reassuring us he will be by our side incase anything goes wrong. He also took photos/videos for us while under water, which turned out great!! We will now have those memories forever!
