We had a great day and visited two wine estates. We learned a lot and shared great moments with the group. A big thank you to Hernan, our guide who made this day a great time. He is an excellent driver and all his anecdotes were really enriching. The atmosphere was great and the playlists were tastefully chosen. Thanks again!

Our guide, Hernan, was exceptional. His knowledgeable of the countryside along with his experience of making and producing wine was commendable. My knowledge of wine expanded tremendously at the end of this tour. He gave each guest on the tour individual attention and was diligent to include each of us into the conversation, as several of us were from different countries. We all made new friends and throughly enjoyed each others’ company. Definitely recommend this tour if you want to get away from the large tourist attractions and enjoy the culture.

We went on a truly memorable tour of the Douro Valley with a boat ride and two wine tastings. The Douro Valley is incredible, even more beautiful than you might expect. The picturesque landscape, scenery, residents, and history are amazing. We had a wonderful and plentiful lunch with many traditional dishes. We toured two excellent wineries and learned so much about the wine making process and interesting history. Our guide Alex gave us some great insight into Portuguese wines, food, and culture. He helped to make this tour incredibly memorable. We highly recommend this tour and suggest you ask for Alex for a great experience.

A very special day in the Douro Valley, we where picked up by Hernan with a big smile at 8.30am and drove in a very comfortable car to the valley, Hernan was fabulous and very informative, his knowledge in wine making and all sorts of grapes, as well he taught how to enjoy the wine to the fullest, he was absolutely fantastic, first we had a cruise on the Douro river we went to a small but very upscale, by the name Quinte Do Cume which we absolutely loved., They were very informative and the wine was very good, we where happy to hear that they are selling in Ontario Canada, We had a traditional delicious lunch and after that we went to another winery more established in the Douro Valley which made fantastic port wines and olive oil and Honey which we loved and perched, we wanted to buy port wine as well but we couldn’t as we are traveling all over Portugal. Overall amazing experience thank you Hernan.

We had a great trip with Violeta. She was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the Douro and every stop we did. Will definitely aim to do another trip with her next time we are in Porto!
